Welcome to the Ranch!
The Beastrom Ranch is a diversified cattle and grain operation located four miles NE of Pierre, South Dakota. Our family run ranch consists of Jim and Barb, daughter Brandy and husband Shad Ludemann, and daughter Brittney and husband Wes Spencer. We have been raising purebred Gelbvieh cattle since 1973. We chose Gelbvieh for their growth and feed efficiency, maternal traits, and gentle disposition. We also crossbreed Angus and Red Angus with Gelbvieh for our Balancer program. Whether in the show ring or the pasture, producing sound, quality cattle is our top priority. We’d love to talk cattle and show you around the ranch. Visitors are always welcome. Along with the cattle we raise wheat, corn, alfalfa, and sunflowers. We also offer guided pheasant hunts. Complete packages including single or multiple day hunts with guides and dogs are available.
